UTEC India was incorporated with the primary objective of providing superior-quality components, such as standoff insulators and busbar supports, made from thermoset-engineered materials for electrical control panels, transformers, and power transmission and distribution systems.

The company manufactures SMC-based manhole covers and frames for municipal infrastructure, roadways and highways, residential complexes and housing societies, railways and airports, and smart city infrastructure. It also produces pultruded cable trays used for electrical and instrumentation cable routing in chemical plants, refineries, offshore platforms, wastewater treatment facilities, telecom applications, and data cable management in high-corrosion or outdoor environments.

In addition, UTEC India manufactures pultruded railings for use as handrails and safety barriers in industrial plants, walkways, staircases, waterfronts, and rooftops. Its pultruded gratings are widely used for flooring and walkways in chemical plants, oil rigs, cooling tower platforms, catwalks, battery rooms, and other heavy-duty industrial environments.
UTEC India benefits from the group’s decades-long expertise in engineering plastics, composites manufacturing, tooling development, and electrical component design. This strong technical foundation enables the company to innovate continuously, enhance product performance, and tailor solutions to evolving industry requirements and standards.

Operating from technologically advanced manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, UTEC India integrates state-of-the-art equipment, precision moulding systems ranging from 65 to 600 tonnes in capacity, automated fabrication processes, and rigorous quality assurance protocols. Every stage, from raw material selection to final inspection, adheres to strict quality and safety standards, supported by advanced electrical, mechanical, and chemical testing laboratories to ensure consistency, global-standard performance, and long operational life.
